Hi, welcome to the EEO & Diversity blog for all practioners and those interested in the Equal Employment Opportunity process and diversity related initiatives.  I look forward to talking with you, posting news and information that will be helpful and receiving articles, stories, best-practices and advice from many of my colleagues in the EEO & Diversity Arena. 

I initiated this site on November 4, 2009 as I noticed there was a void in the blogging world for EEO & Diversity Practioners to share experiences, glean wisdom and guidance from one another, assist eachother and partner with others who are in the same professional field.  EEO and Diversity has come a long way over the years and I am hopeful this outlet will provide all of us opportunities to sharoen and enhance our skills and knowledge.

I have had the privilege of wiorking in the EEO arena for approximately 12 years now as an EEO Counselor, EEO Investigator, ADR Coordinator, EEO Officer, EEO & Diversity Manager and Equal Opportunity Program Manager.  I currently work for a Federal Government agency in the Washington, DC Area as an EEO & Diversity Manager.  I am passionate about workplace improvement and empowering employees and managers to work through their differences together when at all possible.
